I went to Woodlawn for the first time last Saturday, it was absolutely amazing. With 400 acres of land, including a waterfall, I haven't even begun to touch on all of the hidden treasures in this place.
I visited some relatives, some of whom I never had the chance of meeting, and stayed for close to 3 hrs just strolling down the pathways, taking pictures.
Here are a some for your viewing pleasure:
As I was leaving, I stumbled onto Miles Davis' plot. which I was a bit disappointed by... guess I expected something more.
But what I was really impressed by was Woolworth's Mausoleum. The artwork was stunning. And the subject, surprising: ;)
Can't wait to go back & explore some more!!!
